The Celtic boss stated he was not afraid of the sack, asserting, “I believe we are very near to things turning around,” in the wake of edging perilously close to the exit with a comprehensive loss to the Ibrox side.

“We produced plenty of positives that we did, like today again. The issue now is sustaining it. My message would be different the same. That’s why I firmly believe we’re going to be able to fix this.”
Rangers manager was cautious about a championship push despite what felt like a landmark win. “Step by step, then we can gradually build something here,” he said. “The faith in the squad is immense.”
